Hi, I'm Carmen!
I'm the founder, owner, and principal consultant at Reda Analytics. I've been generating and making sense of complex datasets since 2014. As a research scientist at UC Santa Barbara and the University of Washington, I conducted mixed-methods research on human health and served as the lead statistician on papers published in Nature Scientific Reports and Evolution, Medicine, and Public Health. During my graduate career, I was the co-Principal Investigator for the Seattle Postpartum Health Study and worked closely with the Tsimane Health and Life History Project. As lead data scientist at the National CASA/GAL Association for Children, I learned how to translate my skillset to a much broader audience. I started Reda Analytics in 2025, where I get to work directly with clients on interesting problems. You can find me on LinkedIn, GitHub and Substack.
